About

Life can be hard. Connecting to our bodies and feeling all the things alongside having human bodies can be hard. Let’s talk about that!

This is a space where I am sharing thoughts and reflections about embodied living. My own story leads to lots of thoughts about how we take care of our bodies. My passion for members of marginalized communities leads to lots of thoughts about race, ethnicity, and gender. The pain I have experienced and the pain I hear from others leads to lots of thoughts about how our bodies experience trauma and relationship. We live in a culture that doesn’t feel fully comfortable talking about these things, but I think its important in our journeys towards wholeness to talk about these places of struggle in our lives!

I am a twenty-something Christian woman trying to be faithful to the ways of the Lord, and I want to share my journey with anyone else who might find it helpful! If there are specific beauties or challenges of embodiment you have experienced and would like my thoughts on, you can contact me here!

I’m Bethany

A little about me! I love coffee and probably drink more than I should! I own more books than I can read, but I keep buying more! I really love being outside and wandering in the woods! I’m learning to embrace being a Gen-Z, White girl who also loves Jesus and is trying to follow Him in the way He has set before us!

I am just a fellow pilgrim, trying to figure out how to live a fully embodied life! Here I am to share my journey and invite you to join in me in discovering the goodness and beauty of living into our whole created being!

Good and Beautiful
